New page

=== Closing Remarks, Albert King, Chief Digital Officer, Scottish Government ===
As the Scottish Government’s senior official for the Strategy, and member of the Scottish AI Alliance Leadership Circle, I welcome this report on our progress. I have enjoyed working with colleagues and wider Alliance membership over what has been a challenging but rewarding first year.

Among the most interesting aspects of the Strategy is how much it acts as a catalyst, helping to both bring people together, and to inform and stimulate other initiatives.

Collaboration with those delivering Scotland’s Digital Strategy and the Scottish Technology Ecosystem Review, a novel CivTech® Challenge on public trust and agency in AI, and groundwork to develop an AI Hub for Life Science, NHS and Social Care, are just some examples of this spirit of joint enterprise.

As we work together in future, we can be confident in building on the good progress already made. I look forward to contributing to the continuing success of the Alliance in delivering the Strategy.
