Introduction

Financial Regulation Innovation Lab (FRIL) is a UKRI funded industry-led innovation programme that aims to address challenges and facilitate innovations in the landscape of financial regulation. FRIL comprises four pillars: innovation calls, actionable research, knowledge exchange and skills development, with each pillar informing and reinforcing each other. As part of the FRIL Team, our Skills Development Team have been focusing on developing short courses and microcredentials to support professionals in the financial sector for upskilling and reskilling.
